Type: A Demonstration of a Unique Experience, Mechanism, or Gameplay

Split Splat is a short, one-level demo game showcasing a unique gameplay experience. It combines the idea of growing and splitting your units like in browser games such as Agar.io with RTS-inspired group selection to give the user agency and precise control over a group of slimes, and tests this with a mix of puzzles and dangerous combat. Collect flasks of slime to grow your units, take on fights with enemies to earn more, and leave some behind to hold open doors with weighted pressure plates.

WASD - Move camera

Drag right click - Select units

Hold left click - Attack with controlled units

Press spacebar - Split controlled units with enough size
